Designing logos was interesting and fun filled for learners as it allowed them to put the important details about the big idea in a creative way. They used different colours, shapes (mathematics connection of regular and irregular shapes) and designs to make it. Before starting the designing, they were made aware of different types of logos that they come across in their day to day life. They enjoyed creating their own logos.

Unbundling - Advertisement

Unbundling the Central Idea The learners of PYP 4 were involved in the task of unbundling the central idea of their new theme "Advertisement". For this, they were asked to write the meaning of the words written in the central idea. This engagement helped them to get an in-depth understanding of the central idea as well as its relation with the theme.

Measure Me !!

Our learners were introduced to the concept of Measurement in Mathematics. They were asked to measure everything around them in the classroom including themselves and their friends. They all enjoyed this learning engagement and learnt that different things are measured in different unit of measurement.



Balloon Car

"Learning is the key to success." Learners of PYP 4 were explained the three laws of motion, and on the basis of these laws they were asked to make a Balloon Car. Mainly the third law of motion was incorporated in the experiment. With this experiment, our learners were able to identify the problems also which were hindering their cars to move properly in a straight direction.
